When Alignment Feels Unclear: Trusting Purpose in the Middle of Uncertainty
There comes a moment in your journey where everything feels… uncertain.
Not because you’ve done something wrong.
Not because you’re unprepared.
But because you’re standing in a space where multiple doors are opening…
and none of them feel completely clear.
That’s where I am right now.
After a season of disappointment, loss, and deep reflection,
I find myself in a place where I didn’t expect an opportunity.
And yet…even with opportunity comes uncertainty.
🌿 When What You Said You Didn’t Want… Shows Up Anyway
One of the opportunities in front of me is something I’ve said, over and over again, that I didn’t want.
A role I once aspired to.
A role I worked toward for years.
A role I eventually decided no longer aligned with the life I wanted to live.
Because I’ve experienced what comes with it,
the weight, the responsibility, the constant demand.
And I made peace with letting that go.
So when the opportunity came back around…
I had to pause.
What does it mean when something you released… finds its way back to you?
Is it a test?
Is it a reminder?
Or is it something I’m meant to step into, differently this time?
🌿 When Something Else Feels More Aligned… But Less Certain
At the same time, another opportunity has opened.
One that feels… different.
More aligned.
More connected to purpose.
More rooted in the kind of impact I know I’m called to make.
It speaks to wellness.
To development.
To guiding individuals toward independence and wholeness.
And yet, this path comes with its own uncertainties.
Logistics.
Transition.
Change.
The kind of unknown that doesn’t question your ability,
but stretches your faith.
🌿 Holding Hope and Fear at the Same Time
This is what I’m learning in this season:
You can feel hopeful…
and still feel afraid.
You can see possibility…
and still question how everything will come together.
You can trust that something is opening…
and still wonder what it will require of you.
And none of that means you’re not ready.
It simply means you’re in transition.
🌿 Trusting That What Is Meant Will Not Pass You
There’s a quiet truth I keep returning to:
What is meant for you will not pass you.
Not because everything will be easy.
Not because there won’t be obstacles.
But because what is aligned with your purpose…
has a way of finding you, even when you’re unsure.
Sometimes things are working out…
long before we can see how.
Sometimes the path is being prepared…
while we are still questioning if we should walk it.
And sometimes faith doesn’t look like certainty,
It looks like taking the next step… without having all the answers.
🌿 A Reflection for This Season
If you are in a place of uncertainty right now, I want to offer you this:
You don’t have to rush your decision.
You don’t have to silence your fear.
And you don’t have to force clarity.
Instead, ask yourself:
What feels aligned with who I am becoming?
What am I being pulled toward, even if I don’t fully understand it yet?
What would it look like to trust that things are unfolding… even now?
🌿 Closing
I don’t have all the answers yet.
But I do know this…
I am no longer making decisions from pressure.
I am making them from purpose.
And wherever that leads… I trust that I will meet myself there.
